First phone post
I’m trying to stay in touch with you in spite of my medical issues at the moment. I’m not feeling very energetic today. That’s how it’s been for a while now, but I’m managing.
I have prepared for a solo exhibition set to open on 31 May, 6 pm (18 hr) at 101 NW 79th Street, Miami, FL. If you’re in town please accept my invitation to stop by. The exhibition is titled, Murmur.
Additionally, I would like to thank the many that have helped me with the preparations and those that have offered. It’s very humbling to garner such support. Thank you.
I will be featuring a new totem and related works on paper. Actually, the hexagonal forms have been part of my work since before the first totem. And, the bit of historical looking back of this exhibition will expose another thread.

Dimensions Variable (DV) presents a solo project titled Murmur by Onajide Shabaka. The exhibition opens on May 31 and runs through July 2025, in the Main Gallery.
